TRUEFIT X PRO Digital Manual

A QR-first guide for choosing the correct bulb group, installing with real reference photos, checking beam alignment, and reaching LUXSTER support when the install needs help.

!
Before installation Turn off the vehicle, allow the original bulb to cool, wear clean gloves, and do not touch the LED chips directly. Check local regulations before installation and use.

What To Check First

These checks reduce the most common installation problems before the bulb is locked in place.

Confirm the bulb size

Match the bulb size on your order, product box, or original halogen bulb. Fitment tools can be wrong when a vehicle has non-OE headlight assemblies.

Inspect the socket

The bulb must enter the factory bulb opening. Do not force the base if tabs, grooves, or clip points are not aligned.

Test before reassembly

Connect and test both bulbs before reinstalling dust covers, airbox parts, or other components around the headlight.

Installation By Bulb Group

Use the selected guide below. The photos are adapted from manufacturer installation references and re-labeled for LUXSTER TRUEFIT X PRO.

Guide A: H1 / H4 / H7

  • H7

This group uses the spring-clip method: insert the bulb into the headlight assembly bulb socket, position/fix the bulb, then secure it with the spring clip.

H1 H4 H7 bulb inserted into the headlight assembly socket and positioned before the spring clip is secured.
Step 1

Insert and position the bulb

Place the TRUEFIT X PRO bulb into the factory bulb opening. Confirm the bulb sits inside the socket before closing the clip.

Step 2

Secure with the spring clip

Press the spring plate or clip back into its locked position so the bulb cannot move inside the assembly.

Step 3

Connect, test, and close

Connect the original car plug, test both bulbs, organize wiring, and reinstall the dust cover only when clearance is correct.

Guide B: H11 / 9005 / 9006 / 9012 / 9007 / H13

This group uses the twist-lock method: insert the bulb into the headlight assembly bulb socket, rotate it to the locked position, and confirm the LED chips face 3 and 9 o'clock for the best beam pattern.

Step 1

Remove the original bulb

Unplug the factory connector and remove the OE halogen bulb from the assembly.

Step 2

Insert and rotate to lock

Align the tabs with the factory socket, push the bulb into the opening, and rotate until it locks firmly in place.

Step 3

Connect the plug

Connect the original car plug. If a polarity-sensitive bulb does not light up, reverse the connector and test again.

Step 4

Check light pattern

For best beam pattern, the LED chips should face the 3 and 9 o'clock directions after the bulb is locked.

Beam Pattern Matters

For the twist-lock group, do not stop at "the bulb turns on." The LED chips should face left and right, at 3 and 9 o'clock, so the reflector can shape the light correctly.

  • If the beam is high, scattered, or uneven, confirm the bulb is fully seated.
  • If the chips are not horizontal after locking, adjust the bulb position only when the assembly allows it.
  • Do not drive with a beam pattern that blinds other drivers.

When Something Feels Off

Use these quick checks first. For more detailed guidance, open the LUXSTER troubleshooting hub or send the case to Support.

Common install checks

Bulb does not light up
Check the connector, vehicle socket power, and polarity. For polarity-sensitive models including H11, 9005/HB3, 9006/HB4, and 9012, unplug the connector, reverse it, and test again before final assembly.
Flickering or dashboard warning message
Some vehicles may require a compatible CANBUS decoder or anti-flicker harness. Repeated voltage instability may require a relay-kit style solution.
High beam and low beam are reversed
For dual-beam models such as 9007 or H13, remove the bulb, rotate it 180 degrees, reinstall, and test high and low beam again.
Uneven beam pattern
Confirm the bulb is fully seated. For the twist-lock group, confirm LED chips face 3 and 9 o'clock where the assembly allows adjustment.
Fitment issue or wrong bulb size
Double check the OE bulb model. Non-OE headlight assemblies may require a different bulb size, adapter, or retainer.
